کلمه قاراشمیش در محاوره بسیار کاربرددارد و برای درهم ریختگی استفاده میشود.
از ریشه ی آذری/ارمنی (قاریشمیش) به معنی به هم ریخته و درهم، بلبشو، خیط، درهم وبرهم، مخلوط درهم، هرج و مرج، بلا تکلیف، نابسامان، خر تو خر، شیر تو شیر
