نام/اسم Explanation: This "document" where all these terms come from was not written by an English speaking person, or, at least, not by a very literate one. "assign" as a noun has a specific legal usage, but that is NOT the meaning here. In Googling "under his assign" I saw numerous cases where the writer means "under his name"...but again, this is not standard English. Without further context, this is the best we can suggest. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2012-05-18 16:12:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- This is an example of where I found "under his assign" http://www.testfever.com/viewtopic.php?t=1104300&sid=0a11f7c... Because it is so bad, it is hysterically funny English for a native speaker. As you read it, you can understand what the writer means, but practically every word is the wrong vocabulary choice. |
