Prašau padėti suprasti terminą unresponsive konkrečiu atveju. Iš esmės aš suprantu skirtumą tarp "unconscious" ir "unresponsive", tačiau mane glumina paprastiems asmenims (ne medicinos specialistams) pateikti nurodymai, kaip suteikti pirmąją pagalbą:

- Place the unconscious, breathing person in the recovery position.
- Monitor breathing and circulation.
- If the person becomes unresponsive, start CPR (compression and ventilation).

Tai jei asmuo jau buvo "unconscious", tai kaip čia toliau vertinti, ar jis tapo "unresponsive". Žodžiu, būsiu dėkinga už jūsų nuomonę, kaip būtent šitam kontekste jūs verstumėte unresponsive. Ačiū.

disagree  Giedrius Ramasauskas: unresponsive tikrai ne "be pulso ir nekvėpuojantis". Tai tik nurodymas, ką daryti, t.y. kai žmogus nereaguoja, reikia patikrinti pulsą ir kvėpavimą. nereaguojantis žmogus gali pats kvėpuoti ir gali būti normali širdies veikla.

disagree  Dalia Rokaitė: Pagal žodyną "nereaguojantis", bet ne pagal kontekstą. Žmogus negali reaguoti ar nereaguoti, jeigu yra be sąmonės.

  -> Medically speaking, when a person is called unresponsive, it means they're at least unconscious, and possibly dead or dying.(Pvz. akių vyzdžiai nereaguoja į šviesą). Gal po termino turėtų sekti paaiškinimas?
