English term or phrase: like-for-like sales
Using like-for-like sales is a method of valuation that attempts to exclude any effects of expansion, acquisition, or other events that artificially enlarge the company's sales. For example, if you are trying to compare the turnover of company ABC from this year to last year, it makes sense to exclude from the equation any sales resulting from acquisitions this year.

like-for-like sales
Definition
Comparing this year's sales to last year's sales by looking at the current sales derived only from activities that were in effect the previous year as well. This method would ignore sales that were only possible this year, for reasons such as a merger or acquisition or the launch of a new product.

pardavimo rezultatų gretinimas vienodomis sąlygomis

Explanation:
Nežinau, ar šitokia sintaksė būtų priimtina, bet gal ir „pardavimo vienodomis sąlygomis rezultatų gretinimas“.

neutral  Eurotonas.com: It is impossible to have equal conditions (=vienodomis sąlygomis) for the current year's sales and last year's sales. Moreover, the addition of "vienodomis sąlygomis" or "vienodu pagrindu" makes the Lithuanian term ambiguous and really too long...

-> OK, but some way has to be found to carry across to Lithuanian the idea of "like-for-like". Something like "vienodu pagrindu" ?

disagree  Gintautas Kaminskas: Vent all you want, but your translation „gretinamieji pardavimo/prekybos rezultatai“ does not not capture the essence of "like-for-like". It means just "comparing sales/trade results". Where's the "like-for-like" ?
