Through CAM design
This method aims at reducing the drag force from the router bit at the moment a piece is cut loose.

A. By multi-passing, and letting the last pass just take the last skin, the forces are reduced. An advantage is that the top edge will be complete around the outline.

B. ***By bridging****, and routing the ***bridges*** in two passes. Same advantage as above, but faster, as most of the outline is taken in one pass. If necessary, the last pass on the ***bridges*** can be taken with a very low feed rate. Since the ***bridges*** are small, the time spent to route them is still short.

4. Using tape/***bridging***
Canvas tape can be applied on a path already routed and before the part is cut loose. To have an efficient workflow the technique should be combined with bridging as described above. Run the job twice, with two different material setup files. First, ignore routing the ***bridges***. Secondly, after applying tape, ignore routing the main outline, i.e. rout just the ***bridges*** in one pass.
