neutral  Olga Cartlidge: Gaffiot translates "nocere" as "faire du tort a qn, causer du tort, faire du mal, être nuisible, funeste'' i.e. do harm, inflict injury, hurt but not in an emotional sense, as far as I am aware. Lewis and Short seem to be pointing in the same direction.
