septendecim Explanation: This is the word for seventeen. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2007-07-15 00:06:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- One could even write with good classical precedent (Cicero and Livy), 'septem decem' or 'septem et decem'. 'Septemdecim', though found in the MSS of Republican authors, is post-classical. |
