5 +1 | concilium academicum/conlegium academicum |
|
concilium academicum/conlegium academicum Explanation: The former is more common, the latter better Latin. 'Collegium' is a slightly less classical spelling. Both mean 'board' or 'council' in this sense that you seek. 'Conlegium' also means 'college' but not in the academic sense. It was used of priesthoods which often consisted of a number of persons. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2009-11-12 15:32:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 'Ex decreto concilii academici' is correct. 'Consilii' means 'counsel, advice, plan', not 'council, board'. |
