-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 mins (2014-12-11 17:56:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Z drugiej strony same obserwancje nie otrzymałyby chyba takiej rangi, można byłoby przecież wyjść na dewota. Koniecznie trzeba dopytać o kontekst. Jeżeli znaczeniowo pasuje tutaj ta „bojaźń Boża”, no to jesteśmy w domu. |

above all godliness pietas (erga Deum) ante omnia Explanation: 'Erga Deum' ('towards God') may be omitted. Latin 'pietas' is rarely used in the sense of its English derivative 'piety' but normally includes the whole concept of 'godliness' in regard both to deities and to the proper moral behaviour of human beings towards and with one another. |
