Explanation: The only two examples found on the web. Not convincing, though. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-10-24 05:47:20 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- This web site gives ¥"エッジドグルーパネル¥", but I think it would be a typo or an error by the translator of the site: http://www.ep.org/mem_pages/Bingaman & Son Lumber, Inc..html Reference: http://www.nwpa.org/MemberSearch_JP.asp Reference: http://www.n-mokuzai.com/news/n200010.htm |

Just a guess. But this panel may be a sort of laminated wood(積層材、積層合板)ans the edge is terated by glue to increase the strength etc. http://www.sovebec.com/product_edgeglued.htm -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-10-24 06:29:32 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 縁よりは木口のほうがedgeの訳としてはふさわしいかもしれません。 |

http://www.toyama-smenet.or.jp/‾jujotimb/ Reference: http://www.eidai.com/worldwood698.html Reference: http://www.palco.com/cat3.htm |
