学校内での hearing でしょうから「ヒアリング」を使うよりは「意見を述べる機会」の方がコンテクストに合っていると思います。

「意見を述べる機会を望む権利」を行使したら、当然「意見を聞いてもらう場」は与えられます。単なる「意見を述べる権利」では聞く側の準備が出来ているかが分かりませんし...。

下では「~する機会を望む」ではなく「~する機会を設ける権利」という表現が使われています。
「片方が調停人の出席のもとで交渉する機会を設ける権利を持つ」

agree  Yu Sekine: この場合の「ヒアリング」は公聴会とか、そういう類のものですね。「異議申し立てのための公聴の場を設ける権利」という感じでしょうか。

  -> そうですね。ただ、公聴会というほどにフォーマルなものかは分かりませんし、意見も異議に限るわけではないでしょうから上のようにしました。

agree  Keijiroh Yama-Guchi: 明らかにこれは学校側の担当者と話し合い、すなわち生徒側の話を聞いて貰える機会が与えられるということからすると、この表現が一番的確と信じます。
