peer agreement (net): +2（化粧品が）特定の効果効能などを持つという（業者による）主張 Explanation: health claims, nutrition claims という言葉で、「強調表示」としてよく訳されていますね。標榜（びょうぼう）という言葉もありますが、上記の分では、表示する行為よりも、その内容（効果効能、成分、製法、分量などで、その内容を特定・アピールすること）を指しています。例えば、「コエンザイムQ１０ｘｘｘ配合」、「美白効果」、「ナノテクノロジー」「アンチ加齢肌」などなど、色々ありますよね。そういった主張に、カスタマーはついふらふらっとお財布の紐がゆるくなる、ということでしょう。むむむ、分かります。 日本は審査が厳しいはずなので、誇大表示や虚偽表示はあまりなく、客観的に実証された内容のようですが、国外ではまだそのあたりの基準ははっきりしていないこともあり、また審査基準も国ごとに異なるようで、時々問題になりますね。natural ingredients といえば、少し前に Body Shop というブランドを建てた女性が亡くなりましたが、このブランドの claim のひとつがnatural ingredients でした。 でも、実際に自然から摂れるものだけを材料に化粧品を製造・販売することはできないわけで、そのためこの claim に対する批判もありました。 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2007-12-09 15:40:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 強調表示というより、能書きとか、謳い文句などと言ったほうが分かりやすいですね。「本当にそうなら（効くなら）ちょっとお高くなってもお金出すわよ」、という消費者の付加価値に対する意識を説明している箇所だと思います。 |
