Push Distribution:
This field is used if there is excess inventory.
The surplus stock is retained at its place of origin or is distributed.
The choice is based on the following options:
If you leave the field blank, the system uses pull distribution; the demand of the current day is met through deployment, but excess stock is not distributed.
If you select P, the system uses pull/push distribution; excess stock is distributed to meet the existing demand within the demand horizon according to the forecast in the DCs.
