Anche se non si tratta secondo me di una preghiera di guarigione delle famiglie, o per la guarigione delle famiglie, piuttosto di una preghiera nella tradizione dell'insegnamento di Fr. Yozefu-B. Ssemakula ("The Healing of Families").

In alternativa, potresti tradurre l'acronimo HOF -> GDF (Guarigione delle Famiglie).

Non ho letto il libro, però da quello che si evince online, la preghiera è molto probabilmente da intendere come la intendi tu.

Se si tratta della prima occorrenza dell'acronimo HOF nel testo inglese, si potrebbe renderla come "preghiera GDF (Guarigione delle Famiglie)", con appunto la glossa tra parentesi.

Asker: Anche a me sembra più una preghiera nella tradizione di Fr. Yuzefu ma devo renderla in italiano quindi sarei più orientata per GDF inserendo la spiegazione in italiano. Io, in realtà, la intendevo come una guarigione dai mali che affliggono la famiglia, mali spirituali e non. Tu che ne pensi?
