Explanation:
Dipende da come traduci "I'd hope". Io lo tradurrei con "spero", per cui la frase subordinata oggettiva va al congiuntivo presente ("ci sia").

Se lo traduci con "vorrei", poi sarebbe "che ci fosse qualcuno che si prenda/prende cura di me".

Riguardo alla tua domanda, "looking for me" va comunque al presente congiuntivo o indicativo.

L'ho inteso come "look out for", visto che tu hai messo "preoccuparsi".... la cosa mi ha tratto in inganno. Non conosco il contesto che tu avrai certamente ben chiaro. E' evidente che "look for" (senza "out") è "cercare".
