Premesso che qui le soluzioni già proposte vanno bene, suggerisco 'eventi' al posto di 'avvenimenti' per una questione di brevità e scorrevolezza, dato che si tratta di un testo destinato al turismo (se ho capito bene). Mi chiedo anche se l'aggettivo 'storici' non si debba estendere a entrambi i nomi, ossia così: 'eventi e aneddoti storici', ma dovrei forse leggere la frase in un contesto più ampio. I link che ho trovato forse offrono una gamma su cui si può giocare.
