XXX ABS edging tape Y is coated with a protective peel-clean foil to protect the high-gloss surface. In general terms, the surface finish (structure) is the only difference between Y edge banding tape and standard XXX ABS edging. Y ABS edging can be processed without difficulty on continuous edge banding lines as well as on fully automated machining centres. The protective foil is not adversely affected by the use of conventional separating, cooling and cleaning agents. Should the protective foil peel off when processing on a continuous edgebander, it is recommended to check and clean the copy shoes, as well as to consider the use of a lubricant to minimise friction between the protective foil and the copy shoe. To protect the edge banding tape from external influences for as long as possible, it is recommended to remove the protective foil not until after the furniture has been assembled.

E' un mistero il motivo per cui in inglese lo abbiano reso con "copy shoe", visto che in tedesco si parla di Tastschuhe, dove tasten vuol dire tastare, palpare. Mah ...
