English term or phrase: dusting
Here we are. New Covent Garden. I love coming to this place. You know, the market is buzzing, it’s beautiful flowers everywhere. When you come to decorate your wedding cake you’ve got plenty of different options. The more traditional one would be to use sugar flowers but who wants to do that really? What do you do with it? You can’t really eat them or you’re gonna end up dusting them for the rest of your life.

Explanation:
ipotesi letterale. Siccome queste decorazioni non si mangiano, cosa si fa con loro? Le si usa come soprammobili che si riempiono di polvere e così si passa la vita a spolverarle.
