English term or phrase: Snatch every fiber of this man\'s edges
Buongiorno,

"If you don't snatch every fiber of this man's edges - all three of them - you're a bigger fool than I thought."

A me, ascoltando l'audio, la trascrizione sembra corretta.

Qualcuno ha idee?

Grazie mille!

litigare con veemenza/confrontare qualcuno direttamente
Explanation:
"snatch edges" is black slang for "fighting somebody" or confronting somebody directly and aggressively. It originally points to something like a girl-fight, specifically one where two women are pulling each other's hair (that's where the expression comes from). Over time it came to mean "fight aggressively" in a more general way.
I asked you if the man is balding, because that's my only way of justifying the phrase "all three of them", which might be a hint to the fact that the professor has very little hair on his had.
Without seeing the scene, this is all speculation, but I absolutely cannot find any other explanation that makes sense.

I just saw your discussion entry. This rules out my guess about "all three of them". I'll have to think about it.
But I am pretty sure about the first part, especially since she is a young black woman. She is just telling herself that she is not going to take that shit and she is going to confront him on it.

snatch every fiber of this man\\\'s edges
sorprendere ( slang )

Explanation:
you've "snatched my edges" means usually that you've done something so gr8 and amazinghttps://mobile.twitter.com/alessiacara/status/63461265982914...

( Tipo "you blow me away!" )
