Indonesian translation:"laut menjadi pantai, pantai menjadi laut"

Explanation:
Well, I don't know any Portuguese, but if you're willing to take English anyway,
there's an Indonesian site that has this sentence:
"Kujadikan laut menjadi pantai, pantai menjadi laut." "I made the sea becomes the shore, the shore becomes the sea."

but in this site, it's part of a teaching about the creation of the universe from a Sufi scholar (?), Baya Muhaiyaddeen, whom I know nothing about. Hope this helps.

Explanation:
There is a Melayu (Malay and Indonesian) proverb:
Lubuk menjadi pantai, pantai menjadi lubuk

the meaning is roughly the same as:
what goes up must go down (spinning wheel got to go around)

maybe this is what you mean?

lubuk or lubuk laut in this case, is the deepest part of the sea, while the shore is the shallowest part of the sea.

So the proverb basically says that even the deepest (or the richest etc.) one can turn into the shallowest (or the poorest etc.) one, and the shallowest one can turn into the deepest one.
