Egy informatikáról szóló cikk bevezető mondata így hangzik:

"In the information era, the best of times are the worst of times. Computer hardware keeps getting faster, cheaper and more portable; new technologies have captured the imagination, etc."

Van esetleg jó ötlet, hogy lehetne frappánsan visszaadni a bevezető mondat jelentését?

Explanation:
Nem tudom, hogy tt pontosan mire gondoltak, de puszta tippként felteszem ezt is az utókornak, hátha másutt használható lesz.

Most, ahogy jobban utánanéztem, a tipp olykor használható, akárcsak a

"nincsen öröm üröm nélkül"

(sőt, esetenként talán az "egyik szemünk sír, a másik meg nevet" is).

Ugyanakkor a legdiplomatikusabb (ami a francia forradalomra is alkalmazható, ld Dickens) az alábbi (Jókai mindkettőt használja):

"rendkívüli időket élünk"
"rendkívüli idők járnak"

Mindenesetre nem a "soha rosszabb" vagy a "legjobb is rosszá válik" a helyes irány, vö.:
