English term or phrase: \'she looks like a pig with makeup\'
The above is a cruel but accurate comment, made about an empty-headed teenage actress in a soap. What is the best way of expressing it in Greek? Perhaps μοιάζει σε γουρούνι με μακιγιάζ or μετά το μακιγιάζ? It is easy perhaps to translate but is it how a fluent Greek person would phrase it? All help is appreciated.

So many ways, so little time! Limited only by your imagination. You can play with μοιάζει/φαίνεται, με/σα/σαν, γουρούνι/γουρούνα, μακιγιάζ/μακιγιαρισμένο/μπογιατισμένο and equivalent feminine forms according to your choice of γουρούνι/γουρούνα, e.g. μοιάζει με γουρούνα μακιγιαρισμένη, etc.

Since this is the only reply & a very good one, I award Sophia with 4 points. There is a difference between the expressions 'lipstick on a pig' and 'a pig with makeup. The former can be defined as meaning that 'making superficial or cosmetic changes is a futile attempt to disguise the true nature of a product.' The expression I asked in my question was intended to be a more literal insult to an empty headed teenager who is obsessed with fashion, clothes & dolling herself up, considering such things as the be-all & end-all of life. The former idiom in Greek is probably best translated as γαϊδούρι με σέλα.
