agree  STAMATIOS FASSOULAKIS: Νομίζω ότι η λέξη έχει ιταλική ρίζα (λέμε επίσης ότι η μηχανή κάνει (λαγουδάκια, όπως πηδάνε τα λαγουδάκια) Στα αγγλικά ερμηνεύεται ως jerking=jolting=The effect caused by harsh clutch release. The car body jerks repeatedly in a longitudinal direction
