Hallo, ich frage mich, ob der Autor hier einen Unterschied machen will? Oder lässt sich "legal and closing reporting" einfach zu "Jahresabschluss" bzw. "Rechnungslegung" zusammenfassen? Danach ist noch die Rede von "Legal reporting statements" und "legal reporting prints". Danke für Feedback!

Explanation:
Möglicherweise ist hier Bilanzierung und Jahresabschluss gemeint, 'legal' muss der immer sein, sonst ist er illegal, also ist 'legal' überflüssig. Unter print würde ich Ausdruck des Jahresabschlusses verstehen.
Es wäre sicher einfacher mit dem frz. Original zu arbeiten, das ist mein Ernst.

Danke, an auch Michael, ich werden "legal" unterbringen. In deutschen Texten ist oft die Rede von "gesetzlicher" Rechnungslegung, verstehe aber wie deine Äußerung zu "legal" gemeint ist.

neutral  michael10705 (X): I am not sure that "legal" is superfluous in this context; oftentimes it refers to report generation that may be used for or useful for preparing or supporting the preparation of various 'statutory' or 'compliance' reporting requirements.

  -> while I agree with you: In Germany there is only one set of books - the statutory accounts (from which tax accounts are derived). The SAP concept doesn't encourage secret accounts. Management accounts are a different tune, but they were not mentioned
