Ich bin gerade der Proofreader einer Übersetzung im Bereich Gesundheitsratgeber. Es wurde gerade die Blutzuckerregulation (Insulin, Adrenalin) besprochen. Nun kommt eine Liste von "guten" und "schlechten" Nahrungsmitteln und Getränken. Kurz gesagt: "schlecht" = zuckerreich oder wenigstens Insulin-erhöhend. Die Liste bei "VEGETABLES" enthält:

Das ist die vollständige Liste der Gemüse. Ich kenne Curettes im Zusammenhang mit medizinischen Instrumenten aber überhaupt nicht als etwas zum Essen. Der Übersetzer anscheinend auch nicht, er/sie hat "Curettes" im deutschen stehen lassen und mit gelbem Hintergrund markiert. Was ist das?

According to this reference they're forks (for shellfish here) which would fit in with the normal surgical meaning of long thin appliances for examining teeth, ears, mouth, etc.
