Ein Artikel in der britischen Zeitung The Guardian bejubelt CRISPR-Geneditierung als eine Technologie, die unsere Nahrungsmittelproduktion revolutionieren wird. Obwohl der Autor die zugrundeliegenden Risiken kurz anspricht, gibt er in weiten Strecken die Argumente und die Rhetorik der Gentech-Lobby nahezu kritiklos wieder. Inhärente Probleme der CRISPR-Technologie, Gesundheitsrisiken neuartiger Lebensmittel sowie die Gefahr von Biowaffen werden zugunsten imaginärer Hochleistungstiere und -pflanzen ignoriert.

Explanation:
... und dort, wo du im Text "Gentech-Lobby" hast, würde ich dann schreiben "...gibt er in weiten Strecken die Argumente und Rhethorik von Bayer/Monsanto & Co. wider."
Im Prinzip austauschbar, finde nur, so rum passt es einen Ticken besser. ;-)

Noch eine andere Idee, die näher am Original ist:

Guardian malt rosarotes Gentech-Utopia

(oder auch "blühendes", "sorgenfreies" oder irgendein anderes positives Adjektiv – vielleicht geht es ja nur mir so, aber für mich hat der Begriff "Utopia" allein sonst immer etwas "irgendwie Bedrohliches"...)
