Explanation:
Der März war für die Beobachter der Ölmärkte ein Sorgenmonat in gleich doppelter Hinsicht: aufgrund gesunkener globaler Nachfrage und gestiegenen Fördermengen in Saudi-Arabien auf der Angebotsseite kamen die Preise je Barrel unter extremen Druck, und brachen in der Folge ein.

So würde ich das mit dem perfect storm lösen. Das mit den gestiegenen Fördermengen habe ich mir so zusammengereimt, das habe ich nicht ergooglet oder gewusst. Das kann natürlich unzutreffend sein.
