This is the name of a 2nd World War battle in Burma, where British and Indian troops were besieged by the Japanese army but eventually won. I have also found it under the name "Siege of Sinzweya", but I can't find any German name for this battle. So far, I have called it "Belagerung von Sinzweya" -- unfortunately, I couldn't find a German website mentioning the place name Sinzweya (or the siege) either, even though I tried all sorts of different spellings... Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

in deutscher Sprache wurde jene Periode oft als der Burma-Feldzug erwähnt. Da der Ort Sinzweya keine Uebersetzung kennt und für sich
eher unbekannt ist, würde ich obige Lösung vorschlagen. Das gibt der Belagerung einen wohl eher notwendigen Rahmen.

Ich würde es die Belagerung um Admin-Box nennen und eine Erklärung beifügen. Die Gegend wird meistens Sinzewa geschrieben. Die Admin-Box ist die Gegend auf der Landkarte, die die 7. Indische Infantrie Division verwaltet hat. Die Box ist die Fläche auf der Landkarte wo diese Gegend liegt.

BATTLE OF THE ADMIN BOX
The Battle of the Admin Box was the first major victory over the Japanese for British and Indian troops during the Second World War. It happened at Sinzewa, Burma, in February 1944. The 'Admin Box' was the administrative and base area of 7th Indian Division, which was besieged by the Japanese 55th Division from the 5th to the 23rd of February 1944. The siege was lifted when the Japanese were taken from the rear by the 5th Indian Division advancing over the Ngakyedauk Pass.
