Mass spectrometry profiling is an emerging technology for the identification of spoilage microorganisms in breweries, enabling high throughput identifications "to the species level" without the need for specialist personnel.

The development of physiological and biochemical assays has improved the identification of these microorganisms, typically "to the species level".

By amending the Biotyper standard reference spectra database (which is a specialized human pathogen database) with five of the most common beer spoilage microorganisms it was shown that 90% of samples from routine quality control of a large scale brewery could be identified "to the species level".

I know what they want to say but cannot think of a way to render this expression in German.
