Es geht um die Beschreibung einer Maschine (in einer Pressemeldung), die - wie beschrieben - realistisch geformte 3D-Formteile aus Fleisch herstellt. Doppel-3D, weil sie nicht nur nach oben hin geformt sind. Was aber ist eine "compound curve"?

ich hatte denselben Ausdruck vor Kurzem in einem Text zum Thema Design und habe ihn mit Obenstehendem übersetzt - Agentur und Endkunde waren höchst zufrieden.
Aber (!): Sie sollten sich entscheiden, inwieweit vielleicht eine "technischere" Übersetzung für compound curve (die es sicher gibt) der freieren Variante vorzuziehen ist, vor allem nach Abschätzung Ihres Themas irgendwo zwischen Technik und PR.

neutral  David Friemann, MA: ja, im Straßen-Kontext gibt es auch die double curve/Doppelkurve auf dem einschlägigen Straßenschild-ob sich das allerdings übertragen lässt?
