genügt Explanation: „satisfying a function“ ist meiner Meinung nach schon im Englischen nicht ganz der richtige Begriff. Gemeint ist wohl „satisfying an equation“ oder „described by the function“. Da der mathematische Ausdruck nicht wirklich eine Funktion ist (dazu müsste alles außer dem y nach rechts geschoben werden), würde ich eher zu „eine Kurve, die eine Gleichung des Typs ... erfüllt“ tendieren. Je nachdem, ob „function“ in dem Patent noch in anderem Zusammenhang auftaucht. Wenn du wörtlich bleiben willst, evtl. „die einer Funktion des Typs ... genügt“? |
