grand n'importe quoi Definition from wiktionary: Locution nominale grand n’importe quoi ɡʁɑ̃ n‿ɛ̃.pɔʁ.tə kwa Chose complètement absurde, très extravagante. Example sentence(s):
Explanation: "Grand n'importe quoi" ne traduit d'après moi qu'imparfaitement omnishambolic, d'ailleurs mon dernier exemple est traduit de l'anglais, et le texte original contient le mot "shambolic", ce qui laisse à penser que ma proposition n'est probablement pas assez forte. Néanmoins, cela me paraît satisfaisant car on maintient le côté imagé de l'expression avec un niveau de registre qui reste pourtant relativement soutenu. |
