Licensing a patent simply means that the patent owner grants permission to another individual/organization to make, use, sell etc. his/her patented invention.
Concéder une licence sur un brevet signifie simplement que le titulaire du brevet accorde l’autorisation à une autre personne ou à une autre organisation de réaliser, d’utiliser, de vendre, etc., l’invention brevetée.

I think we need this discussion for more clarity, at least for the sake of the Asker.

I think that "concéder une licence", "accorder une licence" and "octroyer une licence" are basically the same thing, and they are probably appropriate answers for "out-licensing", and I don't understand why they should be opposed. Can somebody review the sources below and tell me that any of them is wrong? And I don't mean like "you're wong, you're OUT".
