English to French translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / testament
English term or phrase: Bond
NAMING OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE.
I nominate and appoint my sister, xxx, of xxx, as the Personal Representative of my estate. In the event that she ceases or fails to serve as Personal Representative for any reason, then I appoint my nephew, xxx, to serve as Personal Representative. In making these appointments, I direct that each of them be exempt from furnishing a bond, or if such a bond is required by law, each of them be exempt from furnishing a surety upon said bond. I request that my Personal Representative be appointed Temporary Personal Representative upon application therefor.

J'ai aussi d'autres occurrences :

A bond with sureties in the penal sum of $....
A bond without sureties has been filed ....

Je trouve garantie, caution, obligation... Bond et surety ont souvent la traduction de caution, mais est-ce que ça irait ici ?

bond
garant

Explanation:
Je comprends "bond with sureties" and "bond without sureties" dans le sens de garant avec/sans dépôt de garantie (garantie qui peut être une caution, une hypothèque, etc.)
