"Following a valid drawdown on the Letter of Credit in accordance with Article 16.1.3 of the PPA (power purchase agreement), the electricity company fails to comply with its obligation to *replenish* the said Letter of Credit (including by providing a replacement Letter of Credit or, alternatively by paying an Escrow Amount to the Company to be deposited in the Escrow Account) in the amount and on or by the date provided for pursuant to Article 16.1.4 of the PPA;"

I am uncertain of this term as it does not appear on my google searches in English.

Approvisionner une Lettre de Crédit, réapprovisionner, rembourser?

Je ne retrouve aucun de ces termes non plus.

Et je ne comprends pas à quoi correspond le "escrow amount" dans cette phrase.

Daryo: the omission of "re-" indicating a repeated action makes it stray too far from the ST. + "un crédit documentaire" is a completely different beast from "une lettre de change" which anyway CAN NOT be "replenished". (nothing to with "en français" BTW)

Lettre de crédit

La lettre de crédit (aussi appelée accréditif, L/C, crédit documentaire ou « crédoc ») est un document prouvant un engagement de paiement souscrit par la banque d'un acheteur vis-à-vis du vendeur. La banque s'engage par ce document à payer le vendeur, pour le compte de l'acheteur, si le vendeur fournit les documents (document de transport, la facture, le document d'assurance, la liste de colisage "packing list", les signatures, la lettre de change si besoin, le délai de présentation du dossier), conformément aux conditions énoncées dans le crédit documentaire. Ces documents sont censés attester de la bonne exécution de ses obligations par le vendeur.
