La combinaison match over n'est pas un « concept » et son sens est on ne peut plus clair ici :<p>to match = « faire correspondre/correspondre à » (en gros)<p>over = « en plus de, au-delà de » (re-en gros)<p>Voir plus haut dans la discussion et la réponse de Gilou. Il faudrait simplement en savoir plus sur le cadre de ces accounts receivable/payable pour affiner la traduction.

just because the Asker asked for a translation of "match over" as if it was a "term" i.e. a "unit of meaning" i.e. two words that have a meaning as "a group of two words" DOESN'T automatically mean that "match over" is "a term".

It's NOT! It's not the first time, nor the last time, that the way a question was asked is the result of wrong parsing. And that needs to be corrected first! If you start by misinterpreting the structure of the sentence you won't get nowhere!

To repeat the key point:

"match" is part of the main element / the key concept:

matching two elements / variables "A" and "B", in this ST "A" being accounts receivable and "B" being accounts payable.

"over" doesn't change anything to the meaning of matching "A" and "B" and is part of an added/inserted separate element of the sentence.

Vos démonstrations sont pleines de bon sens, mais soit on passe par une paraphrase lourde qui n'ajoute rien au sens original, soit on accepte que le français n'a pas de mot pour indiquer le concept de "match over"...

In this ST "match over" means nothing.

What you have in this ST is

match "A" [accounts receivable] and "B" [accounts payable]

the inserted part "over $1.2 trillion of ..." is an addition that changes nothing to the meaning of to match "A" and "B", except giving an indication of the scale at which this company is operating.

Which leads to a translation along the lines proposed by Ph_B.

Leur croissance est telle qu'ils peuvent désormais apparier(?)/faire correspondre (?)/compenser (?) plus de 1,2 trillions (R.-U.)/billions (É.-U.) de $ comptes débiteurs et créditeurs - c'est du moins ce que suggère la syntaxe. La termino, elle, est à vérifier.
