Extract :
"From the levelling rollers the sheet then passes into the pleating rollers. This function comprises of a single pair of rollers with the bottom one being powered and the top one not. In operation the top roller is raised or lowered by turning the ‘PLEATING’ handle/lever to the ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ position, as appropriate."


So far I use "plissage", but I am wondering if there is a better word.

It is not about cardboard, but steel sheets, so the material is not litterally "pleated" (plissé).

Après cette opération, la tôle est toujours plate, mais marquée, un peu à la manière d'une tôle antidérapante.
