English term or phrase: ramming
Dear all I'm in trouble with the term "ramming". I know the French terms "pisé" or "battage" but it does not seem to fit here.

Context: Data Sheet for ramming material to be used in a furnace.

Resin/tar bonded calcined anthracite based ramming material
APPLICATION Ferro-alloy hearth and launder ramming.
(All physical properties based on rammed semples).

Many thanks in advance.
