seasonal school schedules, etc.), new pars for Basic Suggested Order items must be created.
SOQs need to be adjusted for several weeks to establish a new order history that reflects the new par.
Refer to the Inventory Management Toolkit for details on determining usage and setting pars.
Determining Need
How do I determine how much to order or validate that the Basic Suggested Order Quantity is accurate?
Actively record on-hand inventory quantities*
Track order quantities
Calculate usage.
You can check and adjust based on usage to ensure the highest quality suggested order for items that will be on Basic Suggested Order.
If you are ordering based on usage, suggested order quantities should meet business needs.
