neutral  B D Finch: Redaction may be done by removal, but is frequently done by obscuring the redacted words in such a way that they cannot be read.

  -> in a general case, I would certainly agree; but here it's about posting on a website, they are more likely to simply omit personal info, rather than replace it with black squares like on documents given following FOI requests.
