I believe that the term 'pan' is very widespread in this sort of field, and well understood; however, if you feel the need (and have the space!) to explain it, then this would probably be suitable; do note 'pan' implies a specifically rotational movement, as distinct from a lateral displacement or translation, which would be a 'travelling' in FR and a 'tracking' or 'crabbing' action in EN.

neutral  Tony M: OK for 'panoramique' ('horizontal' isn't really necessary, since that's what it is by definition) — but a bit worried about this clearly translated site, which seems a bit dodgy to me in places.

neutral  Dave Boyd: “Panoramique” is the word in French. I’ve heard “pan” used in French, but may be jargon to your target audience). Blender is a good site, and not dodgy at all (I personally know some of the programmers) but they have some peculiar tems. and it’s not lacet
