un bâtiment sur le viaduc rénové Explanation: Shoreditch viaduct building = Shoreditch railway station, built on a viaduct "Shoreditch railway station Shoreditch was a railway station on the North London Railway (NLR) in Shoreditch, London, that was in use from 1865 to 1940. It was situated on a viaduct between Haggerston and Broad Street stations. It should not be confused with Shoreditch tube station (1869-2006) on the London Underground, situated about half a mile further south. It was also not the first main line railway station to possess the Shoreditch name; Bishopsgate (1840-1875) was originally given that name." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoreditch_railway_station |

"Currently the arches of the viaduct are used for light industrial and commercial activates. Over a period of time in this use, various lean to extensions, mezzanine floors and ad hoc services have been added, altering the appearance and condition of the original structure. " "The remains of the railway viaduct have historical significance as a remaining piece of Victorian railway and industrial heritage in the London Borough of Hackney. The viaduct is now part of a larger mixed use residential lead development scheme called The Stage, located in Shoreditch, London. It is proposed that the viaduct structure will be restored and a new urban park and pavilion will be provided on the upper deck level where the tracks once stood. The arches below will be converted into retail units. Open public space will be created alongside the arches from which the form of the structure will be fully appreciated." http://www.wealthadviser.co/2016/03/17/237589/galliard-launc... "Currently housing the new marketing suite, the railway viaduct - located on one side of the square - will be restored with the brick arches accommodating 9,000 sqft of new shops and bars and the top of the viaduct landscaped into a park with a tea/coffee house. The historic brick arches of the railway viaduct, which have dramatic 20ft high ceilings, have been enclosed with glazing and interior designed and dressed by Argent Design, working with Galliard Homes."
