ulkoneva Explanation: outlaying also (apart from financial contexts) means something that is not incorporated, i.e. external, like outlaying territories or areas. looking at the pictures in your link, one door is flush, i.e. tasalla oleva, tasapintainen, sileä ympäröivän seinän kanssa; the outlaying door would therefore appear to be "erillinen", "erillään oleva", "ulostuleva", "ulkoneva" . Would this make any sense to you at all? Reference: http://sciencelinks.jp/j-east/article/200013/000020001300A05... Reference: //http://www.burnley.gov.uk/site/scripts/google_results.php?... |

kehystetty ovi Explanation: If you look at the corresponding page in Spanish, the term is puerta envolvente, badly translated as "out-laying door". What is meant is a framed door (kehystetty ovi) in a free-standing (vapaastiseisova) unit. The flush door (puerta empotrada) is flush with the wall into which the unit is set. The Spanish translator makes the mistake of confusing flush with flush-fitting. Flush door is laakaovi. A flush-fitting door is upotettu ovi. |
