Turbans are supposed to be symbolizing the religious connection to the Holy prophet of Islam, and the Safavid Dynasty, tried their best in reigniting this kinship with that holy family. A good try but somehow it went the undesired direction than thought when applied. Any ways, Safavid turbans were almost 95% the same type and shape of the Turbans you see now in Iran. A head gear which can be used to signal your Family Roots ( black or Green) or just an academic root ( white) or colorful ones which you find in Baluchistan and other tribal areas a head gear to protect from desert sand storms and serve as a cover at night or a table when you eat and of course your tribal statues according to its colors and jewels, if any used. Hope this was informational. |
