to stay on par with op gelijke voet blijven met Explanation: Ik zou zeggen "Op gelijke voet blijven met... Zoals hier: If I am being honest, I have to admit that part of me doubted my ability to stay on par with this goal. With so many other things going on in my life, my writing had really taken a back seat. But you know what, I’ve actually been able to do it! http://www.veronicajorden.com/?p=342 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2012-06-26 21:59:17 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ik dacht dat de gegeven zin: "Stay on par with... an accurate inventory" de volledige zin was. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2012-06-26 22:15:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Misschien zit ik er wel naast. De officiele betekenis van "be on par with" is "gelijk zijn aan". Van twee wapens wordt gezegd dat ze on par with accuracy zijn (elkaar evenaren wat nauwkeurigheid betreft). "Stay on par with... an accurate inventory" is dan misschien "Wees (op de werkvloer)... zo nauwkeurig als de inventaris." Dan zou er eigenlijk moeten staan: Stay... on par with an accurate inventory." Is dat een idee? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2012-06-26 22:16:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Een nachtje slapen kan ook wonderen doen!! |

(Artificial Intelligence—On a Par With a Worm) A friend at a neural network company told me that in terms of ‘biomental’ evolution, today’s products can compete head-to-head with a level of intelligence on par with a worm.
