English term or phrase: Arterenone
Our body produces stress hormones, as they are called, in stress situations. Adrenaline is the most well known of these. Arterenone and cortisol are further stress hormones.

Er arterenone det samme som noradrenalin?

Norepinephrine
Explanation:
Norepinephrine is the correct term in English, I believe.

The exact scientific description of this hormone is actually 3,4-dihydroxyphenylketoethylamine. But the above term would be easier to use in a translation =)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes, norepinephrine is the same as arterenone, but that is not a Danish term. I just found this: Norepinephrin, også kaldet noradrenalin, so I guess we were both right. Thanks.

agree  Jeanette Waldvogel: epinephrine/norepinephrine er foretrukken term in US English, hvorimod adrenaline/noradrenaline er UK english. Har aldrig hoert om arterenone.
