Note the stress before the 'the-sound' .. it is to indicate that the suffix is short and strong. Reference is 'Politiken - Nudansk ordbog' electronic version. Derimod er der sjældent vokalsænkning af en lang vokal som for eksempel 'i' i drive, rive eller skrive. Samme lyd høres da i 'drift' men bør næppe heller yde fremme. |
