nogomet Explanation: I wouldn't even translate "association" in this instance as it is only used in the U.K. in the most formal of contexts. Certainly in day to day speech and the written word it is always simply "football". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 mins (2008-04-10 09:13:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Soccer=US English Pronounced rather amusingly "Saacker" ;-)) |
