Ernst and Resch distinguished the apparent and true placebo effect: the former is the response observed in the placebo group of a randomized controlled trial. disagree  drazenborcic: Za početak, u hrvatskom je uobičajeno da medijan bude u muškom rodu. Drugo, ovdje se ne radi o deriviranju ili ponderiranju "po" nekoj vrijednosti, već trendu koji linearnu regresiju "naginje" prema srednjoj vrijednosti.
