"Molten" u Engleskom jeziku označava da je nešto rastopljeno i još uvijek u tekućem stanju. "Molten Iron" je tekuće željezo koje se može lijecati u različite kalupe. Ako je neka komponenta napravljena samo lijevanjem željeza u kalupe (ne hladnom obradom!) onda je to "cast iron".

Explanation:
Upravo tako. Lijevano željezo je cast iron. Molten je rastopljeno ili, možda još bolje, rastaljeno jer se metali obično tale. Topljenje je općenitije i vezano uz druge materijale. Kao što je sladoled :)
